Clearly water is getting in, so a bad seal is the most likely cause. Take the lens out and check for a pinched rubber seal, if damaged replace seal. Also, always a good idea to apply some silicone spray on rubber seals (doors, windows, lights, etc.) to make them water proof and look like new for years.
