Complete Command Failure at 9K Miles
My command unit stopped working last Wednesday. I was hoping it was a fuse (or two). After checking the location of the fuses for the Command unit (all 4 fuse boxes) I decided to leave it to the dealer to find the cause of the malfunction.
Turns out the entire unit was NG and was replaced. Got the car back today (Monday) and all seems fine.
Ain't new cars phun?!!?

Sorry about your bad luck! No such news on mine @ 15k. But, when it's really really hot outside, my rear parking sensors show red and yell at me when there's nothing back there. Feel any better yet? By the way, they charged me $115,000 for that privilege!

Really not that bad. It was fixed well this time and the SA I used seemed to be a lot better. I still believe my old Audi dealer was head and shoulders above Mercedes, but I have a few more years to develope a relationship with the dealer, so let's see how it goes from here...

Try another dealer
Mercedes of Massapequa. Go to Vinnie he is the best. Bought mine at Sovereign in Bklyn talk about horrible. Had the car detailed there and when I went to pick it up some *** was dusting it right before my eyes with a rag I wouldn't use to ckeck the oil with. Before I could say something, which I yelled at him little swirl marks had to buffed out on the hood. The manager then tells me why am I getting so excited its just a car. Never mind it was only 6 months old.
Can't make this crap up.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to wait and see if this guy gets any better.
BTW, do you know if I lose anything by switching dealers for service (loaner cars, etc?)?

doubt it
Vinnie is great I always get a loaner. As long as the service /repair is scheduled. I didn't buy it there as I stated earlier. My previous vehicle was purchased at Mass. MB, so I had a previous relationship with Vinnie. He always tries to help me.
