Pics of my new rims!! 22" Vossen CV1's

It took me forever to finally figure out what rims I wanted and after much debate I ended up going with these Vossens. I had them custom painted so the lip is color matched to the car with a flat black face and they came out AMAZING!! The black and white rims match my black and white Designo interior perfectly!

I lowered it with links from http://www.adjustableairride.com/ instead of the ghost links because from what I read, ghost copied this guys idea and that's not cool so I went with the original. I also like the idea that they look more solid and won't twist/adjust as I'm driving.

I got them from Need 4 Speed motorsports and they had them painted for me as well. Check out the little gallery they made on their facebook page with my wheels before they shipped them to me, great photography!! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...9500693&type=3

My buddy Andy is getting into photography so we went and did a little shoot the other day, next up on the itinerary is some rolling shots!!!

This is so subletly pimped out! I like it!

RT2010 May 29, 2012 07:59 PM

IMO, it would have been even better if you painted it all white -- sort of like this one. But again, you should go with what you like the best.

Unique...now just have all the chrome trim pieces blacked out and you're good to go. :)

bananas sal. looks awesome.

IMO, the other sclass posted here with the all white wheels is garbage. lol

Super Salami May 30, 2012 02:28 AM

Thanks for all the feedback guys - Unique and different is something I always try for and it luckily paid off pretty damn nice here. I'll post up a pic of the interior showing off the black and white so you can see how nice it all flows together.

Regarding that other car posted, I do not like the chrome lips at all! I refused to have chrome on any part of my rims which is what prompted me to go completely custom because most rims nowadays have some sort of chrome.

And about the existing chrome trim, I may try some plasti-dip for the window trip and hope it looks good!

Wow that looks sensation....love that interior!!!

You've got a great looking car. The wheels really make a dramatic change. My next S might have to be white.

jagata Jun 1, 2012 09:36 PM

That goes double on the interior, sweet.

BTW: Did you buy the rims from Edgar?

phatisfy Jun 1, 2012 09:42 PM

I worked with Tiko.

I highly recommend anyone ever getting one of these cars to get a designo interior, it completely sets the car apart. The car itself is sexy, but throw some white leather with black wood trim and a alcantara headliner with a pano roof and you've come pretty damn close to perfection. If I didn't have this interior I'd be more inclined to upgrade to a newer model or different car but there's NO way I'm getting rid of this combo anytime soon.

Is it my imagination or the Designo leather seems to have the new car leather smell that is more distinctive than the non-Designo leather?
Every time I step in my car...the leather just smell wonderful.
