Group Buy - K-Mac Camber Kits

Wanted to give everyone a heads up on this group buy. We would like to manage everything in the group buy post here https://mbworld.org/forums/vendor-gr...ml#post5256989 if interested.

They do offer a W221 application :)

Is anyone jumping on this or already have this? Been waiting to get this for awhile.

Didn't really see the great savings to make me wanna jump on it. From what I gathered it's a group buy on 'shipping'??? Not a huge incentive there...

Im thinking the same thats why im notpulling the.trigger yet.

I guess you can pay the $90 shipping for one kit directly from K-Mac? Or if you are seriously interested get in on this buy and pay $14.95 for shipping. K-Mac's website quotes $75 shipping for a single kit. We shipped one in last week it was $90 on top of the price. $ is $ and you are saving with this so I think you are missing part of the equation.

All we are doing is organizing a group buy to save on shipping, you are correct. The power of purchasing in large quantities. Unfortunately we are not receiving any breaks on pricing by ordering 10 kits at a time, just savings on shipping. Otherwise we would pass along additional savings if there were any to be had.

Its all up to you all on whether this works or not. We are just facilitating the purchase to help you out and bring in a product that is not readily available with a reasonable rate to ship it in.

If I lowered the price of the kit $75 but charged the same shipping that K-Mac charges would that make it sound like more of a discount to everyone? Its the same money out of pocket.

Check the actual group buy thread there are some owner that have priced these out on their own and ran into the roadblock with shipping.

Again, up to you all on whether you want to this work.

More important question is if these are really needed on an S class? Not like we take S to the track.

Proper alignment and camber specs are certainly important for track cars. The benefit on daily driven vehicles that are lowered is being able to get your camber back out so you don't have any abnormal tire wear caused when you lowered the car.
