2007 S550 CLIMATE CONTROL DOESN'T WORK
I have a 2007 S550 and the A/C & climate control system doesn't work....most of the time. It seems that if the weather is cooler it works, but when it has been getting over 90 or so, the system will not work at all. I can feel cool air coming through the vents when I'm at speed, but the blower motor doesn't work at all. Sometimes it will kick on when I'm half way home from the office, but most of the time in the afternoons when it's hotter, there is nothing. Within the last week or so, it has stopped working completely. Any suggestions? I've read that in the older model (W220) that the blower motor control module has a habit of going out. I wonder if it's the same in the W221, but I haven't been able to find anything written about this issue.

Sounds like blower motor may need replacement – current part # 2218202714 (MSRP $288) have dealer, independent or anyone with SDS read out fault memory in climate system control module. For DIY replacement, have them pull a copy of WIS document AR83.10-P-1100SX. No affiliation http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...&condition=new

AC Blower
I am having the same problem with my 2007 S550 AMG and when I just hit the blower, its starts to blow. Ordered a new blower motor for PartGeeks this evening. .
Can not believe I am having to replace a blower motor at 70K. Also had to replace Motor mounds at 60K because of vibration when the car shifts, oil leak at 60K, alignment ball joint issues at 48K, and finally headlamp washer leak all the washer fluid out of the bottle 65k. And I am hearing that if you don't change the Transmission fluid every 40k, the trans will go out ($7k item to replace).
I have never seen so many issue with a car by 70k. What a piece of crap. Thinking about going back to making lexus as my daily driver and drive DB9 for pleasure. Got 262K out of my LS400 and was still rolling well before I sold it...!
