Snow Tires for S550
 

I have a 2013 S550. Just moved from California to Michigan. The MB Dealer told me there are no snow tires for my car. Any suggestions?

That's funny.. Tire Rack shows at least 5 different choices.


I assumed yours is a 4matic with 19" wheels when I looked it up, but I'm sure there are at least that many choices (if not more) depending on the configuration of your car.


Find a new dealer, as someone already said.


I suspect there are no "MB Recommended" tires that they can sell you so they told you there is nothing. They "recommend" certain tires that they get a better deal on, then tell their customers these are the only tires they "recommend" for your car.


Tires are tires.. buy a good brand and don't worry about what the manufacturer tells you to buy or not buy.


Any good tire shop can outfit you with snow tires for that car. I'd be surprised if you can find a shop that has never put snow tires on a W221....


You moved from California to MI? Brave thing to do just before winter... I thought much of the migration was in the opposite direction :)


What dealer was this out of interest? Used to live in the area and had good experiences with MB Novi but I haven't heard much about the "newer" dealership (MB Eastpointe?)
