wow I didn't think that 22's on a benz is ghetto, most cars have them factory, my 750 had 21" factory wheels, no one said anything but positive lets all relax the ghetto terms and get back to wheels on my new benz.

Those proportions actually look really good. The size looks right against the rear wheel arch, like it was made for a wheel that size.
I'm beginning to think the magic equation is 22' with a lip, which "reads" visually like a 21" but still fills the wheel wells.

Really? What cars come with 22's from the factory? I expect to see a very long list since you said "most cars have them factory."
Honestly, if you can name 5 cars that come with 22's from the factory that are not limited production super exotics or uber luxo cruisers, I'll be impressed and let you slide on your bullsh*t statement.

Those wheels look ghetto to me. Not so much that they're 22's as much as they look way to blingy being chromed 22's....thus being the first thing that catches the eye. His car is beautiful, but most people will see those wheels and forget about the rest of the car.

I think 21" is the absolute perfect size wheel for the 7 series and S-Class for a sporty look, however; they are problematic down the road. Not necessarily the wheels but the constant maneuvering around the slightest road imperfections because your tires will be PRONE to getting damaged very easily.

22's arent ghetto at all. people are stupid they want to put 20s on the car saying its to big. yea the 21's seem like a good fit if you lower the car a good deal. the 22s look like the best cause it fits the the huge wheel wells. with a slight drop the car looks perfect. now if you put a set of 24s or 26s on the benz that would look like ****. i even seen s550s on swangas. worst wheels you can put on a benz. hahaha

If you do decide to go with oversized tires, then that means you will have to have the speedo re-coded and it will need adjustments to the toe and camber. It may also require rolling the fenders, depending on the offset chosen. Then the car definitely achieves the ghetto look that so many young guys these days are looking for.

I've never understood the argument about "filling the wheelwell" with larger rims. Logically it makes zero sense....since the tires will have the same diameter whether they are 18" rims or 22's. The only thing that changes is the size of the sidewall. Anything over 20's, with the very short sidewalls, are going to be much more apt to bending/chipping rims and tire blowouts, not to mention a ride that isn't very appropriate for an S-class.

here some 20s for old guys. them tires make the ride real smooth. dont gotta worry bout no pot holes. no cutting the fenders or rolling them. why lower such a nice vehicle, keep it stock height hahaha

My car came with the 20 inch sports one package and they look proportional to the car. Anything bigger than 20 would look dis proportional to the car in my opinion. Of course I am beginning to find the disadvantage of having 20 inches wheels. I basically became a human pothole mapper. I have to remember all the potholes on my daily route so I can avoid them. I wish google has a pothole avoidance map routes.
