so I am looking to ECU tune my car.. (2012+ M278 engine)
so my board exam is almost over,
looking to threat myself a nice gift,
I have been thinking of doing downpipes and tune for the long time,
anyone out there has 2012+ with ECU tune?
I am contemplating btw eurocharged or OE tuning.
they both offer stage 2 which is with the downpipes (to remove CEL (check engine light)).
downpipes will be made by a good buddy of mine.
(Zury Fabrication in Maryland).
any input would help!

Haha, lol! Now I don't have a tune for the bi turbo v8, but I have a tune for the older 5.5 liter v8 from OE. Great tune, great company! Have had it for over a year with no problems! I have not had any experience with Eurocharged, but from hearsay from the forums, they are a great company to deal with aswell! Both are very reliable, and both are AWESOME companies! Which ever one you go with, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

I don't think the tune allows for much power increase in first gear so as to protect the transmission but from second gear on...

This is on the NA motor. The M278 motor gets additional 128 HP and 163 lb/ft from the tune that costs just $1175. That's a lot of juice for a somewhat small price. I'd just like to see what the long term durability and reliability of the turbos, engine, and 7 speed trans are with that tune.

well lot of cls550 and e550 owners run eurocharged stage2 tune on their stock car with upgraded downpipes only, the gain is crazy and no one so far has had any kind of damage to their car. of course with it being under warranty until 100k miles, if anything happens, i would take off the mods and bring it to the dealer in stock form.
anyways, Eurocharged got in contact with me, so I have decided to go with them.
the power gain should be pretty substantial, (120+ awhp and similar gain on the torque too).
I will entertain you guys soon (give me a good week or two), get the dyno done before and after etc.

I think dishonest is more of dealer side than consumer.
to each its own.
I had bad O2, (cel came on), and it was from two of rear o2 sensors.
dealer replaced them under warranty, even i had modification to the exhaust.
