The front looks like it was lifted from a Nissan Maxima and the headlights look like they are crying some ugly tears. The rear looks like it was lifted directly from the Lincoln MKS. One of the ugliest applications of faux wood I've ever seen.
Are they just trying to steal away the last few remaining customers of Lincoln? I'm not sure where this car is supposed to fit into Cadillac's lineup, but it's becoming abundantly clear that Cadillac has too many models that pretty much all look the same.

That's real wood.
My complaint about the interior is in the detailing...It looks over plastic-ky to me, maybe because they aren't using the silver buttons and trim elements like Mercedes is using.

From Cadillac's website:
"Each of the 7 available interior combinations have been designed to create a holistic environment that works together to please the senses. Custom stained exotic wood species are matched with exclusively custom woven carbon fiber elements and Galvano chrome accents for a rich, yet understated feel.
In the Platinum CT6, the craftsmanship has been taken to an even higher level, with the use of contrasting gloss and low gloss woods, dual-toned eucalyptus and rigorously selected leathers."
The low-gloss wood and that photo does make it look fake, but all modern Cadillacs have been using real wood.

It's not a love child of anything, it's Cadillac's interpretation of a Nissan Maxima. My god it looks eerily similar from the back, the front, and even the oddly shaped headlight.

They did a better job integrating the LCD gauge cluster than MB did on the 222. That's about it. Whatever process they used on the wood, they ended up with a result that looks like contact paper. Front fascia is overwrought with needless detail.
I would like to hear that new Panaray audio system though (peeking out of the dash above the center stack.)

It's about time they make another sedan with a back seat for adults. Before I bought the S I was surprised to find that neither Cadillac nor Lincoln currently made a large sedan.

I prefer our LT1 Cadillac Fleetwood over this funky dunky dingy skinny headlamps car
Interior is better than expected though .But hey where is the wreath surrounding the crest ?
Shame, one of American traditions column shifter is gone for good (in bad ) pun intended .
