new wheels plus PICSSS!!!!
Ok so after a long battle, changing the wheels won again!! These are 35 mm offset which really makes them nice and flush and no need for any spacers!. 255-35-20 fr and 275-35-20 rear and staggered the wheels 8.5 fr and 9.5 rr
also installed akebono pads all around to get rid of the brake dust. New lugs were 27mm and installed some nice german wheel locks. Also did a quik respray of the rear calipers to bring them back to the new look! On to the pics!!!

Now for the true test: when you park the car somewhere do you turn back and look at it at least once?

I def have today!! filled up with gas and a cold ice coffee, checked it out a few times. I think the 20's really sit well on the car especially a stock like wheel. Also tuff to beat a set of reps for under a grand.

look good. unfortunately if the roads around you are like mine - the $1000/ set crop of wheels will bend in short order. you have been warned watch out like a hawk for potholes and avoid them at all cost. your mileage will vary, but unfortunately the outcome is inevitable

Roads are ok, Ive run 21's on 2 -7 series for 7 years and have custom wheels on everything I have. 19-20's on 25 series rubber on my viper. Im a pot hole expert!

Oddly the only rims I've ever bent have been the OEMs. I've scuffed up the reps a few times but I've never bent one. Not a metallurgist or engineer but I don't think the reps are inherently inferior structurally.

Ive bent mostly oem wheels myself and a few authentic ac Schnitzers. I had 2 sets of reps in a 21' ON 2 -7 SERIES AND I THINK I BENT 1. so far I love the look and the 35mm offset is just right. after reading the directions looks like the rear lowering link is a pia to get to, I may just bring it to my mechanic throw it on the lift and have him do it.

Those rims really do look fantastic, and I have to say I love that white color with black top probably best of any 221 I've seen. I'm happy with my black metallic/tan interior for AZ heat, but wow that's a fine looking rig.
I will have to admit tho, that I spend more time staring and Robohopar's signature than your pics, but I can't help studying why the left seems to be slightly off sync with the right....
Let us know how you like the Akebono pads? Many years ago I installed ceramic pads on the wife's Honda Accord, and she *****ed so much I had to have them replaced with OEM's (cannot remember what her complaint was, squeals maybe? I mean about the brake pads, not her, ha!). But brake dust is significant on these weighty beasts (the cars, not the wives. Well maybe the wives).

yea sorry fixed that the rears are a 275-35-20
The akebonos have been on about 2 weeks and I can say they are wayyyyy better than the stocks, I feel the car stops better and it creeps forward less at lights when u let off the brake slightly... As far as the white w pana roof I searched a bit for that combo and cpo was a little tuff.. Im a fan tho!
