Blue Antifreeze

Good evening,

I recently ordered a gallon of MB antifreeze, which arrived today, in blue.

In the past, the antifreeze I've ordered has been a pale orange/yellow, so did I get the wrong stuff, or did the formula change?

The part # is BQ 1 03 0004

Thanks in advance for any advice!

My antifreeze is blue. At first I thought it was washer fluid. :smash:

Maybe I'll pour half of it in the washer fluid reservoir just in case

It's compatible, but blue is the older stock as far as I know. The new coolant is yellow. You can go to O'reillys and get Zerex G-05 coolant and it will work, it's also yellow.

New MB coolant color is now pink.. Yellow was before blue which is fine to use up till 2015 Models...

My dealer still used the blue coolant.

Yea if the car has blue or the old yellow they'll continue to use the blue coolant... The newer cars 2015-up comes with pink and is recommended to continue using the pink coolant...
