Best cover? (2013 S550)
Car is garage kept (unheated) and not my daily driver. I'd like to buy a cover for it.
Any recommendations?
As an aside, I'd prefer to find one from a company that does not manufacture in India (Dave says they are bad).
Thanks.

Thanks for that Nuru.
My car is in a detached/unheated garage....but the climate isn't severe and the car will be driven on a regular basis when the sun is shining.
What I'm looking for is a nice cover to keep the dust (etc) off of it and I guess kimd of insulate it a bit on the rare occasion it does get kind of cold overnight.
Thx for the input, lemme know if you have an ideas about a specific brand of cover.

Mice love to nestle in under car covers, work their way into engine bays, and have a feast building little nests. If you don't really need a cover, then you should try to avoid it.

We have seen evidence of mice around the house before (rarely) but the car wouldn't be left unattended for long periods of time....I'd expect it to be driven weekly.
Do you think using a cover would be problematic in that scenario?

If it sits in a garage and you drive it weekly, you don't need a cover....period. Plus, you purchased a white car that likely won't show any dust anyway.

Will it hurt anything? We have an over-eager standard poodle that might jump on it when I'm not looking -- I don't want to leave anything to chance

Car covers are nice for the times you are not there, but having to put it on each time and taking it off...bleh. Also if your car isn't clean when you put it on, you have just as much of a chance of scraping the paint or getting something stuck under the cover. I would say just maybe wax the car a bit more to add to the overall strength of the paint and not worry about a cover....or you could get one of these :
