Didn't Start

Got in car. Pressed start button. Response was maybe one turnover and then clicking. I know with my other cars I would just remove battery and go to Autozone to test battery. Is this the same for my S550? Didn't want to unhook battery and have problems when I could have asked my forum brothers and sisters first.

Those places can test your battery without removing it.

Bought new battery, working fine. Installed new battery and clock advanced to correct time....hmmm and didnt lose any memory presets, must be a backup somewhere.

I believe there is a small lithium ion battery under the dash that will retain those settings for a certain period of time.
