Back up camera blue screen

Back up camera blue screen
My back up camera's screen went blue tonight. The guidelines were still there. I turned the car of and on, shifted from park to drive and back to reverse repeatedly, but no dice. Anyone seen this before?

I had this problem. It was a faulty diode inside the head unit.

Interesting. A friends W164 has the opposite. Reverse camera is crystal clear but the radio+navigation screen is blue- when I say blue I mean the background colour is blue, still receives radio and navigation though, quite weird . I have Xentry so when we next catch up I’ll see if it shows up anything.

So I know this is an old thread but I just need to point out something. I seriously doubt there's anything in head unit that causes this. The problem quite simply is the cable for the camera. Mercedes has a repair kit for this. I includes the cable and clips from camera to module in trunk. I had blue screen every time it got cold out, after replacing cable works perfect.
