2007 S550 wont start at all.
I have an 07 s550 with keyless start. I drove it all day, parked and went into a store for 5 mins, got back in the car and it won't start! I removed the starter battery(under the hood) and took it to advance auto and had it charged overnight.
Upon reinstalling the battery, the car still won't start. All electronics and lights on dash board are working. I also noticed the car makes a "thump" sound, coming from the trunk area whenever I try to start it.
What could be the cause? What should I check first? Please help. Thanks

Call Mercedes roadside assistance. For your model year vehicle, they will come out for free and try to diagnose the problem. They come out with a supply of batteries and if the battery is the problem, they will offer to sell you one at the standard dealer price. The starter battery is a size that is not usually available at auto parts stores.

They checked the volt on the battery with a multimeter and the battery seems fine. I suspect it might be a relay. Does anyone know which relays might preventing the car from starting? thanks

so i noticed fuse #9 (in the prefuse box) was blown and changed it. I started the car but as soon as i turned it off and try to restart it again it wont start. I checked fuse #9 and its blown again. What could be the reason why fuse #9 keeps blowing?

Go to your local drug store and buy a large jar of Vaseline, and then have the car towed to the dealer. Be prepared to use the Vaseline upon diagnosis.

is the car cranking and not starting? or it won't crank at all? Mine died a couple weeks ago while driving. Turned out to be a dead fuel pump, car would just keep cranking and not fire.
