i have a black 2007 s550 4matic and the aux fan won't stop even when i turn the car off. i unplugged the fan for about an hour and it started working fine for awhile but it stared again. if you leave the car alone for awhile it will stop but as soon as you open a door it starts. from what i understand this thing doesn't have a relay for the aux fan so i think it might just be the front sam. only code in the car is for the ambient temp sensor I've tried 3 and nothing. any ideas?

Was MB DAS used to retrieve fault code(s) - two things to consider: fan controller, not sold separately fan assembly needs to be replaced, and/or coolant sensor - see attachments.
