Nice S600 for a steal
Here is a 2 owner, 43k mile fully serviced S600 listed for just $21k in Miami. Autotrader has it at $20,500. You'd have a hard time finding a better deal on a clean, low mileage fully serviced S600.

Per the Carfax report, the last owner only had the vehicle for 15 months and then it appears to have been traded in at a Toyota dealer. It was serviced at an indy on December 27 and then offered for sale at a Toyota dealer 2 weeks later. I suspect that the indy identified some expensive repairs and or maintenance that was required which led to trading in the vehicle. Anyone who purchases this vehicle without a FULL warranty for at least one year is taking a very high risk.

A Toyota dealer isn't going risk their reputation by selling a car with a lot of problems, they'll just dump it at an auction. But then, there is where I got my car a few weeks ago, and haven't found any major issues, yet. Just tires and brakes.

A Toyota dealer is just as slimy as any other dealer. If they can make a buck they will.

So what. That means you can look at it unattached and without emotion. Consider it a PSA. Go by there take it for a blast, go over it with a fine tooth comb. Nitpick everything and anything and then for fun throw out a crazy Eddie type number. A number so low the salesman will think THAT YOU'RE INSANEEEE! Then go home and, report your findings back to us so we may all share in the experience and move the forum forward with new knowledge. YOU OWE IT TO THE FORUM!

Why would anybody want to buy a used Benz from a sh*thole Toyota dealer? j/k
Although Toyota does sell some pretty kick *** used car warranties. It might be a good idea to see if they would sell a warranty with that car.

This was exactly my thinking when I purchased my '07 S600 with just 24k miles. It was an absolute pleasure to drive that car. But the warranty I spent $3300 on saved my *** and then some. I really couldn't see owning one of these cars at that age unless it already has warranty coverage or you have so much money that the potentially brutal cost of ownership doesn't worry you. But in that case you'd likely be buying a much newer one.

Depends on the weather
That's not a bad deal...everytime I see S600 I wait for all of the negative comments.
I don't see why the S600 gets so much hate and negativity...if someone has the money to spend on repairs/warranty, what is the issue, especially if you're someone who has not even owned an S600.

People only bad mouth a car when stuff goes bad. Rarely do they post about something if the car runs fine. So for every person that has an issue, there may be 10 or 20 others that don't have a problem.

I'm new here, but I bought an '07 S600 a few months ago and love it. The dealer printed out a record of all maintenance done and there were about 10 pages of details. The ABC has been flushed twice and the transmission flushed 4 times in 80k miles. The original owner over-maintained this car and I'm hoping that will keep it running for a long time. I have driven it from LA to Phoenix and back twice and it's the nicest ride for a long trip. I got over 21 mpg going 85-90 the whole way, which I'm pleased with.
