Seat Massage - 2008 S550
I recently purchased a 2008 S550 which was supposed to have the massaging seats. I believe it doesn't. On the menu, the contour seat option does not display. What I'm wondering is, if i was to install massage seats, would the current wiring and computer accept these seats and properly function?

Anything is possible for a lot of $$$. The massage function for both front seats is driven by an air pump. Each seat has several air bladders as well as an airbag with its explosive charge. Any dealer should be able to inquire a Mercedes database which will give a detailed report of all options for your vehicle.
Most vehicles with massage seats were ordered with the P3 Package. Very few, if any, were ordered with it as a separate item.
P3 Package - $6,190
Parking distance sensors rear and camera; Night vision; Driver and passenger active/massage seat; Includes: [P02] P2 Package
If your vehicle has Night Vision, then it should also have massage seats.
