So, is the only acceptable color of the fluid clear/green? Or, is it like motor oil where it might look dirty and really be ok? And, how quickly does it change from clear to brown?

From my experience in the past with my first ABC the dark dirty Pentocin is a ABC killer.
I ended up losing the pump and both valve blocks on my S55.
Good luck.

Mine has 89k miles and has been flushed several times since new. It is green and have no problems with the ABC system, knock on wood. I think flushing it regularly helps to keep things in good working order.

just back from my dealer for the nav/command update (so much better) and I asked him about this. There's no "the fluid gets dirty quick, but it's ok" going on. If it's looking dirty, change it!
