Exhaust shops in Hudson/Bergen County area?

I have a 2007 Mercedes S-550 with a Becker 150k miles and with Becker mufflers installed on it. I want to get a deeper and throaty exhaust sound and was going to have an x-pipe installed. My Mechanic referred me to to a Meineke near my house. Well it was actually very laughable the price and the suggestions to do to my car. So I was basically told that the cheery bomb xpipe I have can't be installed in place of the resonator. The manager at the place recommended that I remove the resonator and just put straight pipes and that would be $400. I think that the price is ridiculous to say the least and considering the pipes probably cost $5-10 each and maybe a hour worth of work I was figuring $100-$150.Of course I did not allow these hacks to even touch my car considering while I was talking to the manager he said if I bought a cat back exhaust that he would charge $300 to install it lol. After I stopped laughing and told the manager that I was not interested in any of the options and was going to shop around. This brings me to why I am posting now. I need to find a place in north jersey that will install the cherry x pipe. Any recommendations?

$400 sounds about right for that job.

Thanks for the response but I don’t believe it’s 4 hrs worth of work. I have actually been told at best is 2hrs. Needless to say even at $150 per hr which is ridiculous it would be $300. Most shops are not $150 per hr unless it’s a dealership. The avg shop around here for labor per hr is $100.

Look up KB Motorsports in Paterson, NJ. Right off Rt. 80. Its actually my buddy and he removed my resonators on my car for pennies. Give him a call or shoot him a DM on IG. Im there all the time to bs and stuff. I agree, it should not cost that much.
