Hello I hope someone can give me some help I started my car several times today before disconnecting both front and rear batteries to change the front shocks tune up etc... when I reconnected the batteries the car wont start does absolutely nothing. I fiq maybe somehow the battery under hood died so took it to autozone had it tested GOOD BATTERY does anyone have a suggestion on what could hve happen
I would have guessed bad starter battery. They quit with no hint that voltage is low, no click and, as you said, "absolutely nothing". I paid for a $130 tow home thinking the starter had failed, when I could have used my truck battery to give myself a jump!
But, if you trust the Autozone, guess you're looking at something else... Hope someone else has a thought...

believe it or not it’s been 2 days now and I had the same issue, today I’m doing an alternator replacement to fix this issue, at autozone they should be able to scan for any alternator faults using the six battery up front or the main in the back. But for me it’s the bad alternator that seemingly gave out recently at about 75k milesOriginally Posted by mcypert
