Might seem like a silly question but I think of it from time to time while in the car.
What are the lines that look like fixed HVAC vents that sit directly beneath the COMAND screen for? I wondered if it was to cool the screen? Pull in air to recirculate or is it used in diffuse mode to put air into the center of the car without directly blowing out of the vents? Or do they have zero to do with HVAC? Picture attached.
