2012 S550, I have a bad water leak coming out back of motor where a clip in type heater hose pushes into a plastic housing that is bolted to back of left cylinder head or block and then goes to some type of motor before heater control valve.( It is to tight to get good pictures), It fills the front of the intake manifold pan with coolant also. Do I have to remove intake to get to these hoses or plastic housing , I think the plastic housing maybe cracked? My dealer is worthless and can't find a picture of that area. This is the heater hose the clips into plastic housing This area fills up with coolant also
No, you don't need to remove intake manifold yo get access to the hose. Just remove ECU, MAF to get more room then you can even remove heater control valve by two T30 screws.
