Brake wear sensors

This seems like a stupid question, but while I have been replacing my air struts I have noticed I only have the brake wear cable on the passenger side (USA) of my car? I think the wholesaler I bought it from did some shady "repair" or are there none on the drivers side? If they are actually missing can someone give the front and rear cable part numbers so I can run them down and get them installed. Thanks to all the forum supporters!

That's normal. Some cars only have one sensor located at the front axle. Keep in mind, there are two pads per wheel, so you'd need 4 sensors per axle if you wanted each pad to be monitored, but that's not done. There's at most one sensor per axle and usually on the passenger side. Brake pads generally wear somewhat even on each axle and the sensors are merely meant as a last resort. Should always make sure they get measured during service and replace them if necessary even if the sensors haven't tripped yet.
