New Guy in TN
When I said it wasn't what I was looking for, I was actually not really wanting the M275. It scared me. The stories of coil packs and plugs are intimidating. I actually won an auction for a 2005 S55 first. Flew to Houston and stayed overnight and when my friend arrived at the hotel to take me over to the place were were supposed to meet, the seller messaged me backing out of the deal and refunding my payment. Fast forward a few weeks and it happens again. This time on a 2014 S550. At least this time i didn't fly out to LA before the seller backed out. Then I won another S55 on Cars & Bids. Reserve wasn't met, I tried to make a deal, but the seller wouldn't. It was local to me so I had test drove the car and knew of some of the issues that he wasn't revealing. He relisted over and over again and ended up selling for less than I offered. But that was all worth it when I won the auction on my beautiful S600!
I've had a couple small issues pop up since I have owned the car, but searching this forum has helped me resolve them thus far.
The current issue i'm staring down is what I believe is a blown accumulator. I would like to swap them both out (there's only two, correct?). I would also like to flush the fluid while i'm at it. I'm wondering if anyone is local to me (or even not local) that has the flush tool would be willing to rent it out. Maybe I should start a new thread with that....
Anyways, thanks for having me and thank you all so much for all of the information you've already shared. I'm a little old school in that I really appreciate the forum format over the instant sadification of the FB groups.
See you on the road!

When my S600 is properly maintained, I love it like the good mistress she is; an expensive and rewarding mistress.
