Weird ABS Issue

2008 S550.
It was 12 degrees outside today. Went for a45 minute drive, all was well, parked with wheels turned all the way to the right. Came back few minutes after and ABS light came on.

Long story short, if I restart the car, ABS/EPS light goes out as soon as I move most times. What triggers it is turning the wheel all the way left most times, or right I think.
Power steering is not affected.

ABS senor? Should I bother taking it out and cleaning it? I have yet to go to a shop to run codes to determine which ones. Im assuming its one of the front ones. Cables look fine, not broken. I sure hope its not the ABS module/pump.

don't bother to try and clean - put diagnostics on it and check codes and physical display of wheel speeds

its very common on the W221 for the ABS sensors to fail (often its the rear)

MB scanner showed front right sensor. Oh well
MB part is $200 MYLE or other aftermarket is $50. I think I can get away with aftermarket.

Thanks

Go with the ATE also another issue that could trigger a sensor issue is a bad wheel bearing because the reluctor ring is part of the bearing and can come off. I currently have this issue, in my case I can see where the "ring" doesn't seem to be attached to the bearing anymore and gets in the way of the sensor fitting correctly until it's moved out of the way.
