Amplifier Issues
I have the dreaded "Device Unavailable" issue on my 2010 S550. I have tried two amps to no avail, and I sent out my amp to get repaired and the shop said it is broken beyond repair. @BOTUS Always says it is the amplifier that is the issue, I would love it if you can reach out or we can talk to figure this out because you seem very knowledgeable and active in this community. I haven't scanned for any MOST ring codes yet, but I think the issue lies within that rather than the amplifier simply because trying multiple tested amplifiers didn't work. If this helps, the amplifier that came in my vehicle is a BE 7061 Model and the COMAND version is NTG 3.5. Furthermore, everything else works, COMAND works, the vehicle settings work, the Navigation works and the screen stays on the entire time without any reboots. The only things that don't work are sound, voice command and all of the radio stations/media interfaces (AUX, MMI, TV/Video, FM/AM, Sat Radio, etc.) Any help would be much appreciated as it has been quite some time driving my car around with no sounds. everyone needs to use search - it actually works quite well on this forum
there's another two posts going round this week - check them out
the amp is one of two components (with the comand unit up front) that must be operational for the comand to do anything (everything else is unnecessary)
the Amp failure ALWAYS results in no audio anywhere (and no FM numbers or text showing on the comand screen) - but ALL features show up, including nav
the siruis module usually creates a break in the MOST loop and that makes the whole system play up
NOTE
parking sensor noise on most cars comes via the stereo - but lights on and I believe seat belt chimes do not. I'm referencing Audio sources (like Radio, TV, Phone, CD, Aux, Nav, TMC), not warning beeps and bongs

No Bluetooth (but not in this thread if you have the UHI socket in the centre console for Phone only you can plug a Bluetooth thing in there)

Hey everyone, the issue is fixed!
I ended up bypassing the sirius XM module with a fiber optic loop. Before you go buying amps and fiddling around with other things, bypass some modules with a fiber optic loop first.
My amplifier still was broken though, so regardless I was going to have to get a new one. Thank you all for your help.
