Found a cheap S-Class but what are these codes?
Hey guys, title should say enough. Guy wants to offload the car as he has multiple others. I am attaching the codes below. I can do some basic work but don't want a buy a car which needs a whole engine job or anything major. I know these aren't cheap cars to play around with, but for the price it can be a justified beater that I could get some extra life out of. Please let me know what could be causing the codes and how serious they are/ how difficult it would be to fix. Appreciate it.

My apologies:NOTES : P0128 - thermostat temp life slowly
P0025 - Continuous camshaft adjustment ( LEFT ): Incorrect position of the exhaust camshaft (P0025) P0022 - Continuous camshaft adjustment ( LEFT ): Incorrect position of the intake camshaft (P0022)
P0015 - Continuous camshaft adjustment (RIGHT): Incorrect position of the exhaust camshaft (P0015)
Codes were done at a brakesplus not a real mechanic 2 months ago. Seller " allegedly" says it ran smooth prior to having the car sit for 4 months and no rattling although that could be wrong.

camshaft fun is "normal" chocolate chains, idlers and cam sensors - might be nothing might mean end of the world

Nope 2008. Checked it out and tried to jump it but the battery wouldn't charge enough. It barely cranked but wasn't able to fully start. The car was being sold by the original owners son, the original owner passed away recently. The son listed the car for $1500 so I thought it was worth checking out. Might get AAA to come out and jump it if its not gone by the weekend.

Worst case would be a stretched chain or the famous m273 idler gear problem.
