I was supposed to pick up a 2019 S560V4 on July 31, 2019, and was told 2 days before a "stop sale/recall" was in effect for the active brake control. According to NHTSA.gov website, the recall will not have a fix released until med-September. What will happen to the value of this vehicle when the 2020 W222 is released?

 

If I am reading the recall notices correctly, there is only 107 vehicles affected for the 2019 S560 4matic. So yours is one of the 107 affected? There should only be a stop sale on the 107 affected and not the entire inventory of the 2019 S560 4matic cars. But I could be wrong. Federal law stop sale only applies to affected vehicles.

 

Yes. The vehicle we were about to lease is one of the 107, and there’s not another one like it (color and configuration) on the east coast.

I just noticed I have the same crack on my toutch pad.... is this considered as a recall that I could get it fixed even if my car is out of the original manufacturer warranty? My current warranty covers engine and transmission and other sever stuff but not things like these in the interior.
