Selenite Grey & Emerald Green - Not Available Until October 1, 2015
This past weekend, I placed an order for a Selenite Grey 2016 S550. But my service advisor informed me yesterday that both Selenite Grey & Emerald Green would not be available until October 1. This meant that I wouldn't have gotten my 2016 S550 until December at the earliest.
So I opted to change my order to a 2015 model with the same options and in Palladium Silver instead with an expected delivery date of mid-June.
that's odd to me as the emerald green is available now on the s600 (albeit through the "emerald green package"); nevertheless, emerald green paint is emerald green paint regardless on which car it is painted.
The Emerald Green Edition is essentially a fully loaded S600 with different wheels, Emerald paint and green leather piping. Since emerald will be available this year, and you can already get a fully loaded S, you're essentially paying $18k for the green leather piping and different (ugly IMO) wheels!
As in customer order or that one green s class that was floating around as part of the PGA tour. I never saw this green as a order option for the 2015. I had a 1998 LS 400 in jade green and and this is pretty close. Probably my favorite car color.

They could not be ordered. They were part of a limited special edition that were made and distributed to dealers.
