Just got word that BimmerGuru is bringing OEM style fit 1080p wifi dash cams for the w222 by the end of April . This is an idea of how they will look like:
That's weird. The BimmerGuru website seems focused on DVD-while-rolling unlocking software...nothing at all to do with dashcams. Where did you get the photos you posted? (I'm trying to figure out who actually makes the dashcams.)

The BimmerGuru housing looks quite attractive but in the end the quality of the camera is what matters to me. Definitely worth checking out when the MB version is out...
We have Blackvue DR550GW-2CH cameras (more of less the same as the DR650GW-2CH just with lower storage capacity - 32GB max) in our cars and have generally been happy with it.
Front/rear cameras which record while parked up to 5 hours (or less if the battery falls below 11.8V).
In the S-Class, the front camera unfortunately has less than perfect GPS reception, but that is due to IR shielding. It is installed in front of the rearview mirror with the Passport Max radar detector to the side.
GPS is helpful as it records speed/location but not critical to me...
IMHO dash cams are an absolute must. If you get one, get a dual channel one that covers both the front and the rear. Preferably both being at least 1080P.

Many of our clients were looking for dashcams that both functioned flawlessly and preserved the OEM look in their car. For the last 8 months we've been working closely with the design/manufacturing team in Taiwan to achieve this. Our first shipment is expected to arrive towards the end of the month and it's mainly for various BMW models. For the Mercedes Benz w205 and w222 it'll be mainly in black color (other colors will follow in the second shipment). We don't have the the product pictures for the w205 and w222 as of yet but to get a general idea of how they are designed I've included pictures that we have from the other models.
