Thought this day would never come.....

I don't miss it as I thought I would.
A stunning looking 911, will make you feel younger.
I went to a coffee shop to get coffee. I parked it legally on the street (bad move I know). I came out - and I saw this....Don't know who did it - but that's what insurance is for. The bodyshop told me they are going to just replace the door panel, not try to repair it.
Using the best body shop on the east coast (they have fixed the family cars 4 times already). Just thought I'd share the news - anyone wanna give me a hug? lol

Sorry about the hit and run, smh at people who actually can do that type of stuff and live with it.

I'd be more concerned about keeping the interior/door sills brand new while being repaired.
We had a (small) hit and run on our SL just one day after we got it. Most people just don't care or try to find reasons why you deserved the damage. Few people take ownership of their actions.
Hope they get it fixed fast!

In the end, he is still a loser and you will fix it and still have a gorgeous 911 he can only dream about.

Crap, I feel a bit of your pain and I don't even have your car. I wish you well with the repair.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
P.S. I know its a bit too late to ask a dumb question, but were there any cameras in the area that may have something on video? You would be surprised what you may find if you check. I'm in the Security business and cameras today cover a lot of area very clear.
Another reason to purchase a Dash Cam....

JB fixed this - my mother's A8L back to factory. Was $40k +
I go through insurance as they have never raised our premiums because of these accidents - none of which involved error on my part (seems to be always when parked - or at a standstill).
Wouldn't bring the cars to anyone else.

Yes yes! J&B did a fantastic job. No issues. Love the car more everyday - and so do my friends, who often ask to drive it. It's my pleasure to let them - I am sure they'd do the same for me if I were on the requesting end.
I have not yet floored it - no need. The beast screams off Zero and hits 60 in just over 3 seconds and has an ENORMOUS amount of grip. I really can't believe it! Coming off of 3 S Classes - it's a large departure for me.
I have no complaints!

Recently sold my 2013 911 and bought an S Class. My 911 was a stick and after we sold the house and moved to the beach, the traffic is so bad here that it just wasn't fun to drive any more.
I do love the S Class...
Enjoy your 911! There is NOTHING like driving one. Nothing!

My last 911 was a 2009 coupe with a stick. At the time, I also still had my 2004 SL500. I found that after the newness of the 911 wore off, when I wanted to go for a fun drive, I'd take the SL. Also, I find that I am a MUCH more aggressive driver when driving a stick and I didn't like that. I sold the 911 and currently have my S550 and a 2013 SL550 and I'm pretty happy with both.
I lived in Marina del Rey for 20 years before moving to Newport Beach. The traffic in pretty much any area of L.A. Is just NUTS these days and getting worse every day. Come on down to The OC!

I have the 14 way power seats and they seem to be a terrific fit.
Overall its a great car - makes me very happy to see it each time I get in.
