OK, I got a printout today showing my new car is on the Firmament Ace which I could see is out in the middle of the ocean one of those shop trackers.

The port is 70505
VPC: Brunswick
Baumuster: 22182

Any idea what those mean? I am in Houston. It says ETA" 2016/12/22" just above Port:70505

Anyone able to guess when that means I get the car?

Thanks in advance

The ship is estimated to arrive into the Brunswick port VPC on 12/22/16. Depending on how busy the port is, it could be unloaded and processed at the port in a couple of days awaiting pickup by truck to Houston. Since that is right around Christmas it may not be processed until the first of the year. But MBUSA may want to process it by 12/31/16 to get it off their books and into the dealer inventory. And just maybe they want to turn it around very quickly (especially if your car is listed as code 1 Customer Sold) and they want to book the sale to you by 12/31. Also depends if there is any minor shipping damage to the car since this does happen from time to time.

OK, so I looked it up Vehicle Prep Center. Brunswick is in GA, near Jekyll's Island. And Baumaster means type or model...

Do hope I get it sooner rather than later
