I've seen a few on cars dot com and my dealer has one but i haven't had a chance to drive it. It was a non-sport, not a fan of the nose, but like the interior changes (all be it minor). The new wheel and the single glass look like nice additions.

Anyone drive one?

I drove home my S560 today. Lousy weather because of Jose, so just drove it home from the dealer into my garage. Electronics are far advanced compared to my MY15 S class. I didn't realize the eco feature was turned on initially because how smooth it was compared to the 15 and my 16 GLE. Getting used to the new steering wheel. First impressions, I like it. Command is upgraded considerably. No longer has Sirius weather or traffic, it's now TomTom. I have the non sport model, I like it the more I look at it. I just couldn't justify the extra 6 grand to get the sport model, even if this thing is over 100k. I'm still learning all the new features compared to my 15 model. Unfortunately weather looks bad as Jose stalls off our coast, so it will stay in my garage till weather breaks. I'm off to south Florida on Thursday to check on my house so I may not get to really break this car in till next week. Initial impression: completely satisfied with decision to upgrade to the 560.

Congrats!

Radman -

Best of luck on the new wheels - you may be the first on the forum!

Interesting to hear you felt the car was smoother all be it from your ride home. I hear you on the 5900 sport package - its a lot of $$$ for a cosmetic option!

Looking forward to more posts comparing the ride / power / steering / fuel consumption / autonomous useage!

I have just ordered a S560 4Matic to replace my S550e. I was so impressed with how much better it was to drive than the pre-facelift, although they are minor differences they are still noticeable, the most being the tech...

I ordered mine with almost every option like Burmester 3D, Magic Sky Control, Driver Assistance Package and the AMG Package. The price was still a couple hundred under $140k.

To get back onto topic, I also drove the A8, 7 Series and even a used Bentley Continental Flying Spur, nothing drove quite like the good ol Merc.
