Door Sills
Has anyone changed or repaired their scratched door sills, I don't have the illuminated sills, does anyone know where I can buy sills apart from dealer as oem don't look like good quality to me.

I wish they did the door sills like they did for the w221. They are much wider and much much nicer looking. Anyone that had a w221 with them will know what I mean!

I have the illuminated ones and at night they look awesome.... You can try to rebrush your current ones, light sandpaper in 1 direction.

I've got the illuminated door sills as well and they're great.
Mine are the inexpensive eBay ones but they really look the part.

The w222 comes with illuminated sills STANDARD I thought? They just aren't as big as the w221 ones.

My 2015 never came with the illuminated sills, yeah on my W221 I installed a set from formymercedes.com and they were great upgrade for a couple hundred dollars.
I emailed them to see if they have them for W222, still waiting for their reply
Bahnstormer do you remember the seller from ebay, are they oem or aftermaket

Must be a Canadian thing. Had it on both w222s.

Man been so long, totally forgot what my old w221 sills look like. Were they std illuminated in w221?

I have a few PDFs of DIY threads that currently have broken picture links.
They were invaluable to me when I did the install.
