Sunshade for the windshield?

Can any of you guys recommend a sunshade (preferably soft) that you use? I looked on Amazon and they had some hard/bulky ones that I don’t really care for and when looking at the soft ones the size I needed was questionable- according to the charts provided.

Thanks in advance!

I always get Covercraft custom accordian sunshades, but it didnt ship before we left for the beach, so I bought a generic one size fits all sunshade that actually worked GREAT.

You want the large size:

I have a couple of those and they work a treat in the GL and the S class.

I was always a fan of fitted sunshades... especially this summer where temperatures during the day exceed 130F (Dubai), so Covercraft it is... The quality is amazing. The only downside is that you need to keep it inside the car for easy reach (back seat then), and this is not a small thing...

Unless you live in a super sunny and hot climate like TX, FL, (or Dubai) and you don't have a garage, I never understood the point of a sunshade in a MB. The car is going to get very hot inside the car on a hot and sunny day even with the sunshade.

All you have to do is hold down the unlock remote button and all of your windows will roll down, sunroof will open, and the cooled driver's seat will turn on automatically. Wait 10 seconds to get in the car and 95% of the extra built up heat is gone, making entry on a hot day quite comfortable. Then you don't have to fiddle with taking down and storing the sunshade while bumping your rearview mirror out of place.

I've been using the OEM sunshades for years, heavy duty and ready to serve

I got the Covercraft shade I ordered back in May that didnt arrive before my beach vacation, and it is indeed much nicer than the inexpensive Amazon one I linked above, but is harder to store.

I only use it when we go to the beach and the car sits out in the sun for 10 straight days. I don't use it when I just park in the sun etc.

The Sunshade absolutely reduces the heat buildup inside. Its a really noticeable difference, even in the MB with the IR glass. Also keeps sun off the dash and the wood trim, etc.

No garage at the beach?! One thing I always love about our yearly, one week getaway to the NC coast is having a garage for a week LMAO! When you don't have one it's just so cool lol.

I never used these until I lived in PHX for 3 years, now I use one all the time. For sure keeping the sun off the dash makes a huge difference!! Especially with the soft materials that MB uses on the dash. I like my AMG Branded one

Nope! This is in a beachfront condo building and the cars just sit out in the lot. My mom goes with us and my grandmother is elderly so we take two cars in case she and I need to come back on short notice or something, so we drive my wife's Pacifica while we're there and my car just sits there.

We just bought a new house and went from a 1 car to a 2 car, and my wife is overjoyed with parking in the garage lol. She's never had a garage. Watching her park the Pacifica in it is rather terrifying!
