Tired of waxing every month? Try this instead...

I do love the look of a car with a fresh coat of carnauba wax applied, but I wanted a product that didn't wear off after just 3-4 weeks. Applying wax is a bit of a PITA in my opinion and I like to have my cars fully detailed in less than an hour. So last year I picked up McKees 37 SiO2 Ceramic Series Hydro Blue Pro and was hoping it would live up to its claims. After a year of using this product, it definitely met and even exceeded my expectations. And it's so incredibly easy and extremely fast to apply.
Just get whatever wax and contaminants that are on your paint stripped off your car, which can easily be done by clay-baring the car. Then right after you complete the final wash and while the car is still wet, hit each panel with just 2 spritzes of product and immediately hit that panel with a high pressure sprayer, which spreads the product around to the rest of the panel. Do this for every panel of the car until done. It can be applied to everything, including glass, plastics, and your wheels. It literally only takes 5 minutes to apply the product to the entire car. After applying, immediately dry the car with some good quality microfiber towels. And that's it!
The final product looks amazing. Your car will shine better than any wax since this adds a ceramic coating to your paint. And I can say from experience on my other non-coated vehicles that a coating of this last 6 months or more. I applied this to my wife's Honda Odyssey and my kids cars last August and the water would still bead after a harsh winter with salt and grime after just a regular wash. And that was 8 months later. Each application costs less than $2, so you could literally do this every couple of months and spend almost nothing. It is so incredibly simple to do and I doubt you'll ever go back to hand waxing after you've tried this product. You can find the product on McKee's website or even on Amazon. I went with 1 gallon which will likely last a few years with multiple cars. Here is the product on McKee's website. Just make sure you have a good spray bottle to apply the product.

I I found it, they have their own site, not on autogeek anymore.

Carpro Hydr02 is very similar to the McKees Hydro Blue. Both good products and easy to apply although will leave streaking esp on Black cars if not sprayed off with appropriate pressure and if used in hot/sunny conditions.
Using these on top of an already coated car can also lead to streaking.
That being said these do not apply anywhere near the protection an dedicated ceramic coating.
The combo of Gtechniq CSL/Exo is amazing and lasts years. Many other good one out there as well

I see it as a way to save time compared to waxing and preserve the value of the car when I decide to sell it, rather than something that a buyer would pay extra for.
