2015 S550V

Rough Suspension

Hi Guys,
My 2015 S550 suspension has started riding rough and when i go over rough roads or cracks in the road the car feels like it skips and jolts, any ideas what suspension part i should be checking to see if worn out
My car has all original suspension parts and 135k kms

Around 50k our cars need new suspension bushings, ball joints and engine mounts.

Have these items been replaced on your car?

No i have never changed anything to do with the suspension, any idea of cost and labour for this kind of work

Dunno, I'll be watching for replies on this since my front needs it now. From what I've read it's usually the lower two suspension arms in front.

So my indy shop checked all of my steering and suspension and could not find anything worn out, they think it is my tires (20 inch Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+)
I have put on around 80K kms on them, tread depth still looks good to me, has anyone had similar experience with these tires or any thoughts what's causing my rough ride
Also which tires are best for comfort smooth ride on all road surfaces

I reported similar symptoms as you've described, and my dealer replaced that corner airbag shock. Issue resolved. Under factory warranty. Unfortunately, I couldn't get them to do it in pairs. Hope this helps.

It seems absurd to think that all S550 cars need this service at this mileage. Many drivers have reported trouble free suspension components for many miles.

I also think 50K miles is too soon to replace these parts. I'd say from 80K to 100K if it's city car, but even longer if the car driven mostly on freeways.
