Thinking about changing the MBC hydraulic fluid
I'm thinking about changing the MBC hydraulic fluid. Not even sure where the tank is located, obviously under the hood. I think I read it might be combined with the power steering fluid tank. I'm thinking about using a vac pump to remove the fluid and simply put in the correct hydraulic fluid. Does anyone know what kind of fluid this is and can I get it at an auto parts store? Dealer tells me I never have to change the fluid but that just doesn't sound right, it is hydraulic fluid and that gets dirty. One strange thing with this MBC system is I've never got so much time out of a pair of front tires, I have over 50K miles on the front tires now and they look only half worn. Not sure if it's something to do with the MBC suspension and alignment or if I got some freaky super long wearing tires which surprisingly are run flat Conti Pro Contact GX tires.

Have a 2015 with MBC. Never changed the fluid, has 60,000 miles. However, I added fluid to the fill line requirement. Was getting messages, so I added fluid. Messages discontinued. I bought
from Amazon. Love the ABC/MBC.

MBC has a reservoir on the driver’s side of the engine compartment. I purchase that fluid from MB.
Your 222 car uses electric power steering so no tandem pump as in older models.
I suck the fluid out out of the reservoir, refill, then open each of the system bleeders around the car with the car on tip-toes, not running. Each corner of the car will drop with the corresponding bleeder. A clear hose going into the bleeder jug will make easy work of seeing when you have fresh fluid to each corner. Takes a dozen liters to do a nice job of it.
Don’t get it wrong with being in the way of the car as it comes down. Gravity is the enemy.
With XENTRY you can ask for a ‘Rodeo’ after fresh fluid for good measure.
