Any special jacking instructions?
Another major thing, don't laugh, is to make sure you have a jack in the car !, I keep a small trolley jack in the compartment under the boot ( trunk) floor together with a suitable wheel brace. I also have a calapsible spare wheel with suitable wheel bolts that has to sit in the boot. There is a compressor under the boot floor as well, I do not have run flat tyres on mine.
I have not had to press any buttons when changing a wheel on mine, on my 2004 Jaguar sometimes the air suspension drops so I have had to start the car up and wait for the car to rise in order to get the trolley jack out .

An aside, I hate how BMW and Mercedes get lumped together because "they're both German". BMW is built by Bavarians, Mercedes is built by Schwabians, they're completely different cultures. I lived in Heidelberg and spent quite a weeks in Stuttgart and Munich back to back. They're about as different New Yorkers vs Texans culturally.
