Back seat Protection

I have reached the point where more and more frequently I need to put my collapsible rolling walker into the back seat of my '18 S560.

To save time, it doesn't fit into the trunk (boot).

Of course I am aware of the myriad of possible sources for such, but why not ask here about the different experiences, good and not so good, that any of you stalwarts might have to offer?

Thank you!

I've had one of these pet liners (amazon link) for years that has worked well for transporting golf clubs, full size stroller, 40-50 lb packages, 60 lb dog.

Buckle loops around the front and rear head rests to create a little basket of canvas/fabric, fairly easy to install and remove if needed, also can be folded to be utilized for one portion of the rear seat. When concerned about corners or edges causing indentations in the leather (say for heavy boxes), I laid down a folded towel under the liner.

I've tried a bunch of solutions for my kids, who are old enough now not to need it, but I never found anything that worked well unfortunately. That posted above is probably the best solution

Thank you! Nothing more helpful than a third-party endorsement.

Taken out of context i'm sure, after all we are S-class owners, gentlemen only.

Lou My Bride is using a walker that folds flat as she recovers from having knees replaced. It easily stows behind the front seats of my 222 car but will be less than convenient to retrieve if you are without help.

Tone and inflection being utterly missing when reading on the internet we too easily read our own biases into what is written.

Lou is famously salty. You enjoy pointing that out.

Carry on.

Thanks for your input - mine collapses down, but there are still the four wheels and brake handles to deal with. We know it fits in the back seat easily. Lifting it into the back of the Lexus RX is more awkward. For the past few months, it's been a choice between taking a pair of canes or the walker and we decided based on the distance to move from the car to my next spot and/or how many steps I'd have to negotiate. My wife is a wonderful help in every way and we've been managing very well without falls. If we're going together, she drives. For a short trip to the barbershop, I can handle it...it's all compromise.
There's no reason to get into what an old schoolmate of mine once suggested we remainder of the class of 1950 might think of as a "organ recital." Suffice it to say, later life requires adjustments.
I ordered the cover suggested in the first response, and am told it will be delivered tomorrow. So grateful for all assistance and help.

Nicely put.
As a child, I learned as quickly as anyone that the right amount of salt adds flavor; an excess is not good. It typically depends on the taste buds of the recipient.
It may follow that aging causes one to be less patient with aspects of repartee?

I have found with more years I’m less inclined to suffer fools.

Everyone has his/her own experience.

The WeatherTech seat protector works well for me. Tough enough to resist tears from heavy packages and luggage. Vacuums clean or it can be washed in washing machine.
