2015 W222 highest aspect ratio tires?

I have front 245/40/20
rear 275/35/20

I was wondering if I can put 275/50-60/20 for the rear and 245/50/20 in the front for a smoother ride 🤔
thank you.

If ride comfort is most important, you can go with a 19" or 18" wheel/tire combination. The reduced rim diameter will allow for a taller tire sidewall. Be sure to check with the online tire calculators to see what sizes will work. Here's one that I use: https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-Size-Calculator
You put in the OEM size, then see what sizes will work and stay within ragnge, which will be displayed in green.

Keep in mind that the "specific tire" makes a huge difference too. Also, if you're using run flats, then just changing to a non run flat might make the difference for you. Or going from an ultra high performance tire to a touring tire might also be enough. It all depends on where you're starting from.

Can't go 18s if you have an AMG - brakes are too large. Best compromise is a 19 I think so choose a tire known for ride (like Conti or Michelin).

'94 SL600,'05 SL600,'06 S65,'07 E63,'14 E63S,'09SL600 all sold, ‘15 S65,‘18 E63S,'17 SL65, '17S65Cab
The least costly is to use the existing wheels. To do that just put on the AMG spec tires. They are non run-flats which will make an immediate difference plus they are wider which does help a bit with the ride. Size is 255/40-20F and 285/35-20 rear.The best choice for summer tires are Michelin PS4s or the new PS5's if you can find them I have not used all season tires since I live by the beach in SoCal, so someone else will have a recommendation. I get my tires at the local dealer because it is very convenient, they usually have them in stock and I never have to be concerned about wheel damage which had become common at the local tire stores.

Which is why the big question is what he has now. His signature says 2015 W222, not sure if it's an S63 or S550, I assumed S550 because of the tire sizes he gave, S63's run different widths than what he provided. My S63 has 255/40-20 & 285/35-20.

Editorial point: I think it's absolutely ridiculous to run a luxury sedan with such low profile tires! It "almost" defeats the whole purpose of a luxury sedan. I hated that combo on my 2017 S550 sedan. In addition to compromising comfort, the worst part is how easy it is to bend wheels. It's a constant disaster if you don;t have forged wheels. Thos "AMG" OEM wheels are cast aluminum and constantly bend and break. In my opinioon, they are no better than off the shelf cast aluminum wheels that can bought for 1/3 the price of MB branded wheels. In less than 2 years, I bent all four, and at least 2 more than once. Rant over...

There are far more tires available in 19" sizes (suitable for the Merc) than in 18" sizes.

{{This is why I went with 19" wheels instead of 18" wheels}}
