The Front end of my 2020 S560 was converted from the AMG front and back clip to a Maybach looking replica before I purchased it a while back. The pain on the front bumper is peeling (and was starting to in a couple spots before I bought it. It seems like maybe the paint job just wasn't applied heavy enough maybe. So, I have a few questions about getting this repaired. One, does anyone know what the range typically is to get the lower front bumper repainted with the basic MB 040 black?I know this can depend on your city, etc. I'm in the southeast, but was just wondering how much this has run any of y'all somewhat recently. The paint also has a bit of a sandblast feel to it on the lower bumper only. It seems the replacement bumper is made out of plastic, polypropylene or something similar. Are W222 S Class original factory bumpers made out of similar materials or are they still made of metal? I'm guessing the replica replacement may be of cheaper material that is more prone to chipping from road dust, rocks, etc. which may b e part of the issue, but not sure. Lastly, are the factory chrome pieces on the W222 S Classes chromed plated metal, or just a chrome-look covering plastic? My passenger side trim piece was cracked when I bought it, and it appears to just be plastic with a thin chrome-looking paint sprayed over the surface. This surface seems to chip very easily and take on a "sandblasted" appearance from tiny road debris impacting the front bumper during driving. So, trying to figure out where to get a replacement for that broken piece. Wondering If I should just buy genuine MB pieces or go aftermarket like this bumper was before I bought it. I have included some pictures for reference. I would definitely appreciate feedback from you guys. Thanks in advance.

Looks like they did not know what they were doing when they sprayed the replica bumper plastic, lack of adhesion promoter and soft clear coat. Probably a few grand to have the whole front bumper removed, prepped, sprayed and re installed. All of the chrome bits are the problem, as I would only buy OEM for these parts as the rep pieces tend to be cheaply plated. These could be another grand or more also, they are virtually impossible to remove once they are installed as all of the tabs break when you try to remove the trim pieces. All in probably 3K out the door.
