also, what part does the high beam stalk play with the ILS activated?
Thanks
The headlight switch is set to "Auto".Originally Posted by SSBN629 Seattle

Pushing the high beam stalk forward will activate ILS+. Pulling back will turn it off.
It is a mod that I absolutely love having on my car.

Nice ride!
Saturday Peter loaded a tune into my S-65. More power, more torque.
Imagine my surprise when I go to test drive and find shifting to be much improved! Power interruption during shifts better managed. Boost is better managed for more torque down low. LOTS more torque when motoring along at 65mph and I need to get around someone. Previously I would apply power, get a downshift or two and go. Now I apply some throttle and without a downshift it smoothly surges to 80-90mph. Give it more stick and it will drop ratios for even more excitement.
I didn't expect the tune to make for a smoother idle.... But it did.
Well worth the effort!

That sounds great! I'm in the process of having both cars tuned by Benzninja.

ExploreLots of great feedback here. Question for that ils headlights mod.... Do you turn it on in a menu or is the menu just to enable it and then putting on the high beams is what turns it on?
Headlight switch set to Auto and high beams On activates ILS.
If you go to the Lights menu from the steering wheel menu, it brings up an image of the car and gives you the option to toggle it Off.

Thank you. It all makes sense now lol. Definitely a learning curve coming from Cadillacs lol.Originally Posted by James S

Same learning curve here. The S Class replaced a CTS-V for me.

Cadillac makes a great car but it's no match for the S Class. I absolutely love my 2020 S560. Best daily driver I've ever had.I always leave it on and the brights on and let the system handle everything. I did it about 2 years ago and now I am 100% lover of ILS! it is interesting to turn it on and off if your driving out in the wide open, did that a few times on I5 in central CA, but no reason to have off IMHO.
The ILS is on my short list of mods to try. But first I'll have to dig the car out on Monday when the snow/ice storm is over. Good thing I had ppf put on it.

I'm just outside the city in NY. It's due to hit us tonight and get heavy Sunday. Better not loose power, I'll go to the firehouse to watch footballOriginally Posted by SSBN629 Seattle
