They're everywhere ...
In Palm Beach today and must have seen 20 W222s/W223s so far - including what I think is only the second W223 AMG sedan I've ever seen. A lot of other cars, Bentleys, Rolls, Aston Martins, McLarens running around here too. They have a boat show here next week too!

Driving in LA you see thousands of S-Class's out there. I live in the Bay Area now, and they are out there, neighbor has a very base one but other than that not many. I had a friend in LA who said "why buy an S-Class they are dime a dozen" when I bought it. Well there are lots of them out there for a reason!!! They rock.

I see no point of buying other brands while you can afford an S Class .

We're home bodies and don't go out much. We almost never eat out. It amazes me when we do go out to a nice area with all the ostentatious consumption - G-Wagons, Bentleys, Range Rovers, etc. everywhere. I guess some are well healed and buy outright (maybe?) or is it all about the monthly payment? Maybe a lease and a monthly payment for these depreciating assets is the way to go.

I am in the hillbilly center of central Florida...having lived on the north coast of Chicago (Gold Coast) we saw some cars.....
Well, in the "Fancy" area of Chicago...we NEVER saw the car show that is every freaking day at my local equestiran center......I mean, every day - McLaren, Ferrari, Bugatti and on and and on....I was out there a day ago looking at a R6 wagon and S63 - both sparkling like a diamond. Both being driven by a woman who had NO IDEA what they were driving. All they knew was that based on the price tags at the dealership these were the "good ones". I guess the only fancier rides are at the heliport where some folks park. https://worldequestriancenter.com/oc...vTsLPshcGikybE |

People who can afford horses don't look at window stickers. They just buy what they like and have it delivered.

We have horses....I check prices.... :nix: - but, if you are in Ocala you MUST have dinner at White Willow (at WEC). We have now been there three times since they opened - amazing food.

I live in Palatka, It sounds like I can't afford to eat there, LOL
Eating out here in a "good" restaurant would be going to Gator Landing. And being old and poor with a S class aint too bad either, LOL |
In my small hamlet, we have two brand new s63s running around. One mint w221. Next village over is a very expensive and 223s are dime a dozen. also near by is a MB dealership so naturally lots of MBs all around.
