No group discounts just a long time customer.
Got the DOG for 21 and did not want to wait for the new tech to be proven.
And, we have been caught between new model intros in the past that were much delayed.
Two examples: my 2003 was waiting 2 years for the then 2014/15 model.
Ended up buying two 2013s.
Traded one for a 2018 and the other for a 2020.
Love both cars but a deal came along in the mail each of the last couple months and I put it aside.
The dealer called and had known that I only wanted to see the color Ruby Black and went to look at one and hated it. Too brown.
While at my dealer they mentioned that they had sent me the 2021 DOG and was I considering the new model.
I said probably not.
Then a week ago we sat down and started negotiating and the numbers kept getting better.
The $38,391 is with sales tax (8% upstate NY) tag and title.
Net $ numbers went from 47 to 44 to 43 to 38.
Basically a trade allowance of $67k and $13k in various discounts,or: 115-67-13=$35k+tax and fees.
Hope this is a helpful.

From what I gather it's a 2020 S560 for $115k minus $13K in discounts?
Then you said:

Traded one for a 2018 and the other for a 2020.
So you got a $67k trade-in allowance for a 2013? That makes no sense. Or did you mean the 2018?

Thank you, SB! I really enjoyed going through the attachments and getting a feel for how MB is pricing the options in Germany. Lots of good info to go through!

That was history. I did trade in two 2013's at different times for the 2018 and a 2020.
Trade in of the 2018 is for a second 2020 model.

In the natural sunlight Ruby Black is "Black" about 95% of the time in Western PA where I live. It is the most amazing color. I had it on my '16 S550 4matic and I ordered it on my '19 S63 AMG (Euro Delivery). In bright direct sunlight (bright light) it has a brownish/red color but on a normal day sun or no sun it looks black. It is really an amazing color. I matched it up with the beige/espresso interior. What a nice color combo. Of course just an opinion. Hope you did not short change really considering the color.

I'll keep my eyes open for the new Rubellite Red on the 21.
I pounced on the 2020 Lunar Blue because we had two previously and loved the color. But it is no longer available on the 21.
