My new 2021 S580 is on its way to Daddy
Finally got my order in. This is a big deal for me as my 2020 Maybach S560 recently got stolen from me 2 months ago. So this is the perfect replacement for me!
I choose to get the AMG Line (Sport) package instead of the Executive package since I like the sporter, more aggressive look. I live near New York so I do not want to look like a Limo driver.. LOL
Since I choose to get the AMG Package, the rear steering that is offered in the new W223 S-classes is only 4.5 Degree turning angle instead of the 10 Degrees the Executive Series offers. I guess cause of the fender wells on the AMG package they weren't able to get 10 Degrees..? Idk makes no sense to me. Besides, that being my only problem; I added every option my eyes could see. So this is a fully loaded S580 4matic with AMG package
As you can see, I spec'd mine with Designo white with Carmine Red/Black Exclusive Nappa Leather! Reminds me of the 300SL Red leather. It's awesome to see Mercedes offering Red leather now for the S-class models.
However, at the moment there is not a lot of options to choose from regarding exterior colors. I'm not sure why my build sheet says $1,134,406, LOL it ended up being $162,000. The most expensive S580 ordered yet, according to my Mercedes Dealerships near me. Also, the Burmester is now 4D sound and of course I added all the 3D Technology Packages along with Rear Tv's and 21" inch Wheels. Disregard the 20" wheels in the build slot. I should be expecting my S580 in March or April 2021. Only a couple of months left!

Congratulations. The reason why “only 4.5 degree turning angle” is because you chose the 21” wheels. You can get 10 degrees rear wheel steering with 20” wheels (or less)
Personally, I prefer the 10 degrees angle over 21” wheels.

I’m sorry WHAT?! How can a car like that get stolen without being recovered? It’s not like it can be registered anywhere. It’d have to be shipped overseas or something
Nice spec. How is the car $162,000 though? Not sure how you get there based on the specs. Looks like to me the price is around $144,000 if a US car. Just curious as the numbers don't add up.

My 7 series was stolen 2.5 years ago here in Atlanta from a valet lot. They found it totaled in a hit and run in Miami 40 days later. The thieves swap plates out immediately and the police are not actively looking for stolen cars. Too much other stuff on their plates.

You would be suprised. The vin is scratched, They somehow added a new vin and fake title. The car is now somewhere in Maryland, since it has maryland plates now. I Found the car on instagram last week on a body shop's instagram. Its a 2020 Arabian Grey (Custom) Maybach S560 with the big 20" Chrome Wheels

I owned a E550, really nice car with get up and go! In fact Labron James ordered it for his girlfriend, they broke up, he walked away from it, I got it! I'll bet that E63 was a real hot rod! I owned a S550 a few years ago, didn't like it, the new one with the all wheel steering should really make a difference, I presently own a 2019 Cadillac CT6 with all wheel steering handles like a much smaller car, that is my trade on my new S580!

You are quite the Mercedes guy, we owned seven or eight. I was a Corvette guy but age and really bad knees forged me to abandon the Vette, I presently own a 2020 E53 Cabriolet, it's pretty quick, handles well (not a Corvette) and is fun to drive, the wife has a 2020 GLC53 Coupe and the new S580 will round us out!

The dealer did a Netstar Printout: 2021 S580 Luxury Line $116,300.00, AMG Line: Add $4,300.00. The car comes with a lot of standard equipment, but the options can get pretty pricy! That 4D Radio is almost $7,000.00

Just so we're on the same page, there is no argument here, I'm not the one claiming $162,000.00 My S580 has the same equipment except the 4D Radio and optional paint, which is around $7,500.00, my M.S.R.P is $135,210.00, even if you add the rear seat entertainment and optional warranty that could another $5,000.00? I'm just letting you know M.S.R.P from the dealer!
