I see the W223 only comes with 4 matic, which in the past meant you could not get MBC. Has MBC been discontinued on the W223?

MBC has been replaced with E-ABC, similar to the GLS.

I (obviously) haven't driven it on an S yet but based on how it works in the GLE and GLS, I would pretty confidentally say it compares favorably to MBC. It has all the same features (curve, road scan) and then some, Plus the carry ver features work better..

Some countries have it at $7,119 (code 490) in ordering guide. Ouch!

That’s in the neighborhood of what they are asking for the option on the GLS. If we almost NEVER saw a W222 in dealer inventory with MBC, at $4,500.00 or so, we will certainly NEVER see a W223 sitting on a lot with EABC. Probably nobody will ever get to test drive a car with it, we’ll just have to order it blindly. Frankly, I feel the best suspension should be standard equipment on at least the S580.

Nah, these days you gotta fork out for a Maybach to get the best.
