basically the same in Canada. The s500 in Canada is the SWB only but can get it equipped the same as the 580. RWS is available on both models at the same price for 4.5 or 10 depending on the wheel size

I've had 2, 4, and now 10. I can unequivocally tell you more is better; although whatever you can get helps in town. Out on the freeway it's more a bullet point for the average driver driving in real world conditions. By that I mean that no one here is complaining about high speed stability without it and can't recall seeing those complaints on other forums with RWS cars either.
Going back to city driving I had my last car in for service and got a loaner without RWS, same car, just no rear steer. I really missed it in the lots, the Panamera is not a small car and the difference the rear steering makes feels greater than what you'd infer when comparing the turning circle numbers.
It's a no brainier for me when checking boxes while ordering.
