Blown or Loose Speaker?
I have what sounds like a blown or loose speaker in the driver’s side door. It only happens during certain frequencies of bass at moderately loud volumes. For example: the intro to Pink Floyd’s Time is a perfect example.
I have a custom sound setting that is kind of middle high but the bass is set to SOFT. I have an appointment since it’s easily reproducible, but has anyone else experienced this? I have the base 3D Burmester.

There's a "woofer" under the dash. My car rattled in this area on certain songs as well. When I would press my foot firmly on the floor board next to the brake pedal, it would stop. I never got around to getting it fixed.

So I was able to solve this myself. I first was able to pinpoint where it was coming from, which was the door speaker with the silver Burmester speaker, or at least in that area. I simply pressed really hard on the door handle while the door was closed and poof, the vibration/noise went away. So, it wasn’t a blown speaker after all. I can only guess that a clip wasn’t fully seated in the door or something was ever so slightly loose that during heavy bass it would vibrate.
